Remediation

Pure Elements provides water remediation and treatment of contaminated water and wastewater. Treated water samples are analyzed before it is discharged to ensure that the treated water meets the rigorous environmental water regulations.

Our past project includes Tundra Mine, which we provided remediation plan on closing the tailing area and remediating Tundra Mine’s operations on site. The scope of the remediation plan included:

Treating contaminated water contained within the Tailings Containment Area
Discharging the treated water to the environment
Capping the tailings containment area and installation of liners
Treating hydrocarbon-contaminated soil and waste rock
Placing potentially acid generating waste rock under tailings cover Site works to minimize the impact of roads, dykes, dam and trails
